Foundations of Workers Compensation: Insurance Brokers

This course will provide insurance brokers with knowledge and guidance on how to assist employers to meet their workers compensation and injury management obligations under the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 (the Act).

Insurance brokers are considered trusted advisers to employers operating within the scheme, and as such must have a focus on communication and collaboration to provide best practice service and maximise the employer experience.

This course will provide an overview of the Insurance Brokers Principles and Standards of Practice, to ensure insurance brokers understand their obligations as a service provider under the Act.
