Workplace Rehabilitation Providers and the WA Scheme

Workplace Rehabilitation Providers (WRPs) and the consultants who work for them, play a vital role in the return to work process of a worker suffering a work-related injury or illness.

To ensure WRPs have the appropriate knowledge, experience and expertise to deliver rehabilitation services in the workers compensation scheme, WorkCover WA have developed the Workplace Rehabilitation Providers Principles and Standards of Practice (Principles and Standards).

The units in this course provide practical and relevant education to workplace rehabilitation providers on the role and responsibilities they have to stakeholders, within the context of the workers compensation scheme.

The course includes an overview of the Principles and Standards, providing the knowledge needed to ensure the Principles and Standards are achieved to maximise the workers compensation experience for workers and employers.
